Dear Parents,

I will be offering a football camp for lower school students currently in grades 1st-5th. The camp will focus on improving individual skills and fundamentals at every position. It is my goal to build excitement about the game of football and continue to improve Gatewood's Football program overall. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your sons and teach them about this great game!

Order of Events for Each Camp Day:

10:15 to 10:30  Warm-up / Agility Drills

10:30 to 11:00  Offensive Skills

11:00 to 11:30  Defensive Skills

11:30 to 12:00 Competition Games / Kicking Skills

Points of Emphasis:

  • Team Work
  • Basic Fundamentals: Stance, Alignment, Proper Blocking and Tackling Techniques
  • Offense: Every position will be covered: QB, RB, WR, OL
  • Defense: Every position will be covered: LB, DL, DB
  • All Participants will receive one-on-one instruction.
  • Drop-off and Pick-up will be at the concession stand in front of the track.


Each child will receive a tee shirt on Thursday at the completion of camp!
